If I were . . . - Clear It Out Challenge

Does anyone know what time it it?

That's right . . .

It's time for a new challenge over at Clear It Out Challenge,  And once again, our fearless leader, Laura, has come up with another AMAZING challenge for us this week . . . this week is a "color" challenge.  So let's get out our paper, scissors, and glue . . .

Are you ready?

I didn't hear you . . .

Are you ready?

It's CHALLENGE time!!!

Theme:Yellow
Stash: Anything Yellow

And you have 1 week to play (till April 20th)

This week our sponsor is Melonheadz:

For this week's challenge, I chose several digi images from Melonheadz- Superhero Girl 3, Superhero Boy 4 and Superhero Girl 1 along with the sentiment "If I were a Superhero". So once again, using all PaperTemptress papers, here's what I came up with:

I know, "all PaperTemptress papers"??  Yes, it is ALL from PaperTemptress. I printed both digi images and the patterned papers (digi papers) on Cryogen Iridescent paper from PaperTemptress.  I love how they end up with a slight shimmer to them due to the shimmer of the Cryogen Iredescent paper.

The images were colored with Copics and fussy-cut . . . I love how easy Melonheadzdigi images are to fussy-cut!! It's because the  outside lines are a bit "thicker" thus making it easy to cut along those lines and still have an outline left when done. I also used Onyx Mica/Metallic (text weight) from PaperTemptress to give my card a "comic book" look . . . I used the text weight so it wouldn't be so heavy from all the layering.  My "yellow" stash are Sunshine Yellow skittles from DoubleClick - AKA A Busy Bee.

Remember, you have one week (till April 20th) to get your projects in at Clear It Out Challenge, so you can be eligible for the weekly prize which is from Melonheadz  .  Can't wait to see all the "yellow" projects that everyone will come up with this week.  For more inspiration, check out the rest of CIO DT's projects . . .  they are just "super". :)

Till the next time I'm up in the night.
Challenge(s) I would like to enter:

Hi, all my crafty friends and family!!!

There's a new challenge this week at Eureka Stamps . . . and the theme this week is "Four-Legged Friend".

Since I am more of a cat person, I decided to use digi13205 "Kitty Party" and digi13203 "Purr-fect Birthday" from Eureka Stamps.  So using some CTMH papers (Hopscotch collection) and my Copics, I came up with this card:

Remember, you have one week to get your "Four-legged Friends" projects in over at Eureka Stamps in order to be eligible for the weekly prize.  I can't wait to see how many are "cat" people and how many are "dog" people . . . or whatever is in between. :) For more inspiration, please check out the other Design Team members' cards . . . they really are so inspiring!!!

The sponsor is A Day for Daisies:

The giveaway is $12 gift certificate from A Day for Daisies!!

For this week's challenge, I got to use the cutest digi image from A Day for Daisies called "Painted Mushroom".  So pairing it with some of my scraps, here's my project for this week:

I colored my digi image with Derwent Pastel Pencils.  I am loving how easy they are to use and how it does give a somewhat "watercolor" look to my images . . . and it looks so much better in person it. The paper is scraps and the sentiment and gems are from CTMH, .

Remember, you have one week to get your projects in over at HIMCR in order to be eligible for the weekly prize.

Till the next time I'm up in the night.
