Hi, all my crafty friends and family!!!
Hope everyone was able to stay warm and safe last week, especially in the MidWest where a lot of areas got 12" or more of snow . . . I know we got 12" in less than two (2) days, but a friend had over 20" in just two (2) days. Brrr!!!.
But I don't want to talk about the weather because I want to let you know about a new challenge this week at Eureka Stamps . . . and the theme this week is "All in Love"!!!
For this week's challenge, I chose two digis - digi 9005 - "Heart Eighth Notes" and digi9101(476) "Life is the Song" by Eureka Stamps. When I saw the Heart Notes digi image, I knew I wanted to do a CAS card, but also wanted to make the little heart red instead of black. Here's what I came up with for the front/outside:
and here's what I did for the inside:
and here's what I did for the inside:
To get the little heart (with the Heart Notes digi image) red, I inserted it into a MSWordEP document since I didn't have MSWord2013 on the laptop I was using at the time. I then cropped the heart out, changed the color and then did a drag 'n drop to try to get it back into the same position . . . printed it and "VOILA!" it worked!!! Okay, it actually took me a few tries getting it to print in the correct position, but it still worked and that's all that matters. :)
Remember, you have one week to get your "All in Love" projects in over at Eureka Stamps. I wonder what type of projects everyone will come up with this week . . . I can't wait to see!!!
Till the next time I'm up in the night.
Challenges I would like to enter:
Craftin Desert Divas - red/white/pink
D.L.Art - Anything Goes

Lovely CAS card,(I struggle with those) and so brave to change the colour on the digi heart. I'm happy if I get the digi sized right. Great images.
Love it! Great CAS design. Super cute how the inside matches the note on the front. Thank you for playing along with us at Inspiration Destination Challenges- We sure hope you join us again!
