That's right . . . not only is it time for a new challenge over at Hiding In My Craft Room, but we are also having a "Christmas in July" blog hop with prizes for both from Laurie at HIMCR and prizes for the blog hop from some of the design teams (a complete line-up is listed at the end of this post). So make sure you go to each blog and follow any instructions they may have to be eligible for their prize(s). . . . and make sure you follow any instructions from HIMCR in order to eligible for the main "Blog Hop" prize(s).
You should have arrived here from the ever-talented Melanie's blog, "Afternoon Scrapper". But if you have stumbled upon this blog hop and would like to participate, please go back to the beginning by clicking HERE.
Okay, since this is both a blog hop and a challenge, I will start with the challenge. This week's challenge theme is "Christmas in July" (or whatever holiday you celebrate in December). Regular challenge rules still apply. You have till Saturday, July 26th at 2am PST to get your projects in to be eligible for the challenge prize. For the blog hop, you will also have till Saturday, July 26th at 2am PST to hop along and follow any instructions HIMCR and the blogs may have.
For some inspiration, here's a Christmas CAS (clean and simple) card I put together using some of my all-time favorite papers from PaperTemptress:
The papers I used from PaperTemptress are Jupiter Red mica/metallic paper, White Crepe (Ruche) paper, and White Leather paper. And I used Iridescent Cryogen White paper for my card base.
Other items I used for this card was a snowflake die from Taylor Expression, "Holly Jolly" pearlized brads by TPC Studios and a stamp from "A Wee Christmas" by Fresh Squeezed Stamps.
Your next stop is to the AMAZING Sue's blog "Sue's Paper Crafts". If you get lost or need to go back to a blog, below is a list of all the blog hop stops (in order).
