HIMCR #157 - Super Scraps Saturday

Hi, all my crafty friends and family!!!

Here it is the 2nd Saturday of July (yes, already!) . . .

and do you know what that means?

That's right! Not only is it time for a new challenge over at  Hiding In My Craft Room . . . but it is time for Super Scraps Saturday!!!  Time to get out those scraps and get crafty!!!

For this week's challenge, I chose a digi image called "Sunday's Laundry" by A Day for Daisies and grabbed my scraps from my "The Sweetest Thing" 6x6 paper pad by MME and some papers from PaperTemptress to work with.  Here's what I came up with:

Since several of my "long" pieces were only 2-3" long instead of 4", I cut them in 1/2 and placed them behind the image so I couldn't see where I had cut them . . . thus, making them look longer than they actually were. One thing I did to help me make sure my pieces lined up top to bottom was make little lines on the back on the matting to the digi image . . . make it so much easier. :)

PS  For some reason, my laptop or Blogger is acting "funny" . . .not sure why, but it won'e let me highlight anything so I can put links on names or images.  I did copy and paste for HIMCR, but the font is smaller and I did get a link onto the badge for A Day for Daisies, but not the image I used or the typed name.  I will try again later to see if it is just a fluke.  Thanks!
