Clear It Out Challenge - Boy/Masculine

Hi, all my crafty friends and family!!!

Do you know what time it is?

Happy April Fool's Day!!!  Have you been fooling anyone yet?  Me, not so much . . . my daughter was diagnosed with strep throat, so I've been busy taking care of her. And, of course, she's been the model patient . . . NOT!  But I don't blame her because not only is strep miserable, but it has been in the high 60s, low 70s the past couple days.  Hopefully, she will start to feel better soon since she started antibiodics last night.

Anyway . . .Once again, it's challenge time over at Clear It Out Challenge. Time to put away the vacuum, forget about doing the dishes (they will keep till later), and get your crafty on.  And usual, our fearless leader, Laura,  has come up with another AMAZING  challenge  for us . . . and  it's so easy, peasy!!!   So get out your paper, scissors, glue and . . .

Are you ready?

I can't hear you . . .

Are you ready???

Okay, it's challenge time!!!

Theme:  Boy/Masculine
Stash: stickers

You have 1 weeks to play (till April 7th)
(and remember the new deadline time is 8pm PST)

This week our sponsor is:

For this week's challenge, I chose "Gus - Fish Whisperer" from Bugaboo.  I thought it would be a fitting card for my dad or brother for their birthday. :)  Here's how it turned out:

Supplies:
"Breeze" Lost & Found Two 6x6 paper pad by MME
Brown Flower Soft
Green Pearlized Ink by Smooch
Sentiment from Paper Smooches
Xyron Sticker Maker

When I was going thru my supplies to see what I had to work with for this card, I came across the Cattail chipboard by UmWowStudio already "altered" . . . I had made a tag last year and it was my "practice" piece.  And like some (or most) crafters, I don't throw anything away . . . good thing for me in this instance because it worked PERFECTLY with what I had in mind. :)

I also used my Xyron Sticker Maker for my "Happy Birthday" title . . . I know, "cheating".  But in my defense, I don't have much in the way of actual stickers or boy/masculine items. So I made my own.  So along with "Breeze" Lost&Found Two paper pad and the green ruche paper by The Paper Temptress, the card came together pretty quick.  Now to wait till August to give it to my Dad or September for my brother.

Remember, you have one week to get your projects in at Clear It Out Challenge to be eligible for the prize.  I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Till the next time I'm up in the night.  Kathy
