I picked a straight horizontal line . . . patterned paper, ribbon or trim, and alphas. And my new technique was sewing on paper with my sewing machine . . . I had always wanted to try but never got around to it. :) I also went one step further and made a tic-tac-toe board . . . though my elements aren't in a "winning" pattern. :) Here's what I came up with:
Supplies:
CC Products:
Authentique "Loyal" 6x6 paper pad
12x12 "Gathering" paper by Authentique
"To the Moon" chipboard alphas by Fancy Pants
"12 Days of Christmas" by MME
Walnut Stain distress ink
Other:
Butterfly w/ button & twin are from the "Summer Lovin" kit by UmWowStudio
Mettler thread #678
I chose some pictures from when went to the ocean for the 1st time because they matched my paper choice so. Because the pics were taken from the beach and I was a bit far away, this type layout worked great for those pictures once they were cropped down. :) Hope you like it!
Til the next time I'm "Up in the Night". Kat
